Trust Anonymity and privacy

No anonymity, no honest answer.

People only say what they actually think when it cannot be traced back to them. That is why anonymity is part of the platform's design, not a promise made afterwards.

Anonymity 3 safeguards

Nobody sees who wrote what, not even us.

Anonymity is the precondition for answering honestly. This is how it is arranged, from the first click to the report.

  1. 01

    Anonymous from the first click

The system gives every participant a random code. There is no login and no name: we do not know who anyone is, only what each code did. That lets us recognise patterns per segment without knowing anyone.

  2. 02

Your data stays in the EU

All data is stored within the European Union. That keeps us compliant with the GDPR. We do not store any personal data about participants.

  3. 03

    No trace after the session

IP addresses are deleted automatically at the end of the session and never appear in any report. Breakdowns never drop below eight people; a question that produces smaller groups is left out of the reporting.

FAQ

Questions about privacy

Need the details for your privacy officer or works council? Request our documents and we will send them over.

Is anonymity guaranteed?

Yes. Every participant gets a random code instead of a name. Nobody can trace a message back to a person, not even us. Reporting per segment only happens for groups of at least eight people.

How does Upvoice handle privacy and data security?

Upvoice stores no personal data. Every participant gets a random code; a single functional cookie keeps the session together.

Can my manager see what I wrote?

No. Nobody sees who wrote what: not other participants, not the client and not us either. Messages are kept separate from names and job titles.

Will we get a data processing agreement?

Yes. We send the data processing agreement, the privacy statement and our terms on request, so your privacy officer can review them in advance.
