Westerkim wanted to shift course: from thinking in terms of care to thinking in terms of residents' wellbeing. A change like that only succeeds if the people who deliver it every day help shape it.

The approach

In five online dialogues, more than 200 participants from three groups joined the conversation: employees, volunteers and family. Instead of a survey, an anonymous conversation, where every voice carried equal weight regardless of role or position.

The outcome

A shared vision emerged, along with a clear picture of the practical obstacles and opportunities involved in putting it into practice.

The insight Westerkim

More than 200 employees, volunteers and family members contributed, each with an equal voice.

“Really enjoyable. It's great that our opinion is asked for and that we're involved.”
