For a major IT rollout across several countries, the company wanted to know beforehand and afterwards how different groups felt about it.
The approach
Using a fixed script on change-readiness, local managers, implementation teams and frontline staff were surveyed separately. Multiple sessions made the shift in attitude visible along the familiar change curve.
The outcome
Under identical conditions, the groups turned out to feel very differently about the change. That only became visible by measuring it per segment. This let the team tailor its approach per group, and gave the project organisation a clear view of obstacles and opportunities.
