Application Students and the professional field have their say
Let students and the professional field contribute.
For a school plan, educational innovation or consultation with the professional field, one dialogue lets you hear many stakeholders at once, in their own words and with their own ideas.

The occasion Participation in education
You want to involve students, teachers, parents or the professional field in plans or choices.
- Input from large groups of students or stakeholders
- Ideas with support per group
- Demonstrable involvement in plans and choices
Student councils and panels are valuable, but reach only a small share of those involved. A survey shows what people think, but not why.
In an anonymous dialogue, students, teachers or partners from the professional field respond to each other's ideas. That way you discover what is broadly supported and where groups think differently.
The approach 3 steps
From question to a next step people stand behind
We guide every step. What we mainly ask of you is substance: two meetings beforehand and a co-moderator during the session.
- Step 1
Question and groups
Together we decide the question and which groups should take part, such as students, teachers or the professional field.
- Step 2
The dialogue
Participants take part anonymously, respond to each other's ideas and vote on what they consider important.
- Step 3
Outcome and follow-up
You see per group what is broadly supported and can use the outcome in plans and accountability.
Curious what participants see on their screen during the session?

Questions about participation in education
Is your question not listed? Ask it in an introductory call.
Does this also work with large groups of students?
Yes. Hundreds to thousands of participants can join at the same time, without the conversation getting bogged down.
Can we use this for quality assurance?
The report shows who was involved and what is broadly supported. That can contribute to the substantiation of plans and improvements.
Can international students take part in their own language?
Yes. Thanks to real-time translation everyone takes part in their own language, with more than 120 languages mixed together in one session.
Four application areas
Every application works with the same live dialogue.
-
Social safety & culture
Make sensitive experiences and day-to-day practice open to discussion, including for people who are rarely heard.
-
Strategy & change
Discover what is broadly supported for the course, understand what change demands in practice and adjust based on what works.
-
Participation & policy
Let residents, students and other stakeholders contribute substantively to policy and public issues.
-
Employees & organisation
Understand what lies behind the figures, make use of employees' knowledge and give the works council a strong voice.
Ask one question of everyone it concerns
In a demo you see Upvoice with your own question: what you ask, who you invite and what you'll have at the end.
