Application Learning from practice
Discover what works, while it is running.
A plan is only truly tested in implementation. Ask the people who work with it what helps and what chafes, and see which adjustments are broadly supported.

The occasion Adjusting implementation
A new approach or strategy has started, and you want to know what works in practice.
- What works and what chafes, in the words of the people implementing it
- Proposals for adjustment that are broadly supported
- A clear picture of differences between teams or locations
Once a change has started, attention shifts to planning and progress. What happens on the shop floor reaches you late and filtered.
A dialogue halfway through shows what is going well, where it gets stuck and which adjustments receive the most support. You adjust based on insight, not assumptions.
The approach 3 steps
From question to a next step people stand behind
We guide every step. What we mainly ask of you is substance: two meetings beforehand and a co-moderator during the session.
- Step 1
Choosing the moment
Together we decide when an interim dialogue will deliver the most and who should take part.
- Step 2
The practice dialogue
Participants anonymously share what they see in implementation and vote on each other's experiences and proposals.
- Step 3
Adjusting
The outcome shows which adjustments are broadly supported, so you can adjust in a targeted way.

Questions about adjusting implementation
Is your question not listed? Ask it in an introductory call.
Does this replace a progress report?
No. A report shows whether milestones are being met. The dialogue shows how the implementation is experienced in practice and what is needed to adjust course.
How often do you do this?
Often once halfway and, if needed, again after a major adjustment. That way you also see whether the adjustment has an effect.
Who do you invite?
Mainly the people who carry out the approach every day. They are the first to see what works and what gets stuck.
Four application areas
Every application works with the same live dialogue.
-
Social safety & culture
Make sensitive experiences and day-to-day practice open to discussion, including for people who are rarely heard.
-
Strategy & change
Discover what is broadly supported for the course, understand what change demands in practice and adjust based on what works.
-
Participation & policy
Let residents, students and other stakeholders contribute substantively to policy and public issues.
-
Employees & organisation
Understand what lies behind the figures, make use of employees' knowledge and give the works council a strong voice.
Ask one question of everyone it concerns
In a demo you see Upvoice with your own question: what you ask, who you invite and what you'll have at the end.
